Partners & Commissioners
Working together to create better opportunities for young people.
Right Track Sports works with organisations that want to create meaningful opportunities and positive outcomes for children and young people.
We partner with schools, local authorities, businesses, employers, football organisations, community groups, funders and commissioners to develop programmes across sport, youth engagement, mentoring, education, skills, employment and progression.
Our approach starts with the outcome.
Who are we trying to reach? What are we trying to achieve? And what should happen next?
Commissioning Right Track
Programmes built around purpose.
We understand that commissioners need more than activity.
They need delivery that responds to an identified need, engages the intended young people and works towards clear outcomes.
Right Track can develop targeted programmes by combining different elements of our offer around the needs of a group, community or partner.

↗Partnership & Social Impact Programmes
Collaborative programmes developed around community priorities, organisational objectives and measurable outcomes.
↗From Need to Programme
We begin by understanding the problem before designing the activity.
Our starting point is not: What programme can we sell?
It is: What are we trying to achieve?
The Need
What challenge, gap or opportunity has been identified?
The Young People
Who are we trying to reach and what do we understand about their needs, strengths and circumstances?
The Outcomes
What should be different as a result of the programme?
The Engagement Approach
What will create meaningful participation and trusted relationships?
The Opportunities
Which activities, experiences, people and partners can help create progress?
The Next Step
Where should young people be able to progress after the programme?
This helps create delivery with a clear purpose rather than activity in isolation.
Our Delivery Approach
Relationship-led. Outcome-focused. Connected to opportunity.
Engage Through Relationships
Young people are more likely to participate and develop when they feel respected, understood and connected. We prioritise consistent relationships and accessible environments.
Build From Strengths
We recognise what young people can already do and create opportunities to build from those strengths.
Connect the Programme
Where appropriate, we connect delivery with schools, community organisations, employers, football organisations, training providers and other partners.
Create Progression
We consider what can happen beyond the immediate activity. That may include further learning, qualifications, employment, volunteering, football, leadership or another appropriate opportunity.
Learn From Delivery
We use feedback, youth voice and programme outcomes to understand what is working and where delivery can improve.
Pathway to Purpose
Engage
Create the relationship.
Build
Develop the individual.
Connect
Open access to opportunity.
Progress
Create the next step.
Contribute
Create opportunities for others.
The framework helps us think beyond individual activities and consider how each programme contributes to a young person's wider journey.
Working With Local Authorities & Public Services
Right Track can work with local authorities and public sector partners around priorities involving young people and communities.
This can include youth engagement; positive activities; sport and physical activity; community development; mentoring and personal development; skills and employability; progression; youth leadership; and prevention-focused activity.
Programmes can be developed around specific communities, cohorts and intended outcomes.
Where delivery forms part of a wider system of support, we work alongside relevant services and partners rather than attempting to replace specialist or statutory provision.

Working With Schools & Education Providers
Schools can commission Right Track to provide additional opportunities that complement education.
This can include mentoring; personal development; sport-based engagement; enrichment; leadership; careers and aspirations; employability and skills; employer encounters; and progression activities.
We can work with education partners to identify intended outcomes and develop an approach around the pupils involved.

Working With Businesses & Employers
Turn your organisation into an opportunity.
Businesses can play a significant role in widening young people's access to industries, professional networks and workplace experiences.
Right Track can help employers structure that contribution through employee mentoring; volunteering; career talks; industry workshops; workplace visits; skills development; work experience; projects and challenges; and progression opportunities.
This allows businesses to connect their people and expertise with meaningful youth and community impact.

Working With Football & Sporting Organisations
Football and sport can provide both engagement and progression opportunities.
We work with organisations across the sporting ecosystem to create programmes that connect participation with personal development, coaching, leadership, skills, careers and wider opportunities.
Partnership can also help sporting organisations extend their community impact and connect participants with opportunities beyond the pitch.

Working With Funders
Turning investment into opportunity.
Funding can enable organisations to test ideas, reach new groups and create opportunities that may otherwise not exist.
We work with funders and delivery partners to develop programmes around agreed priorities and intended outcomes.
Our approach is to connect investment with purposeful delivery and meaningful progression for young people.
Where appropriate, programme learning and impact evidence can also help partners understand what happened, what changed and what should happen next.

Measuring What Matters
Delivery should create evidence as well as activity.
Reach & Engagement
Who participated and how consistently they engaged.
Personal Development
Changes in areas such as confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience and aspirations.
Skills & Achievement
Skills developed and relevant learning or qualifications achieved.
Opportunity & Exposure
Access to employers, mentors, industries, football organisations and wider experiences.
Progression
Movement into education, training, employment, volunteering, leadership or other positive opportunities.
Young People's Voice
What participants tell us about their experiences and development.
Partner Feedback
What commissioners and delivery partners learn from the programme.
How We Work Together
01
Understand: We begin with the young people, the context and the intended outcomes.
02
Design: We identify the activities, delivery approach and partnerships required.
03
Agree: We establish the programme scope, responsibilities, intended outcomes and practical delivery arrangements.
04
Deliver: Our team delivers the programme while maintaining communication with the relevant partner.
05
Review: We consider participation, feedback, progress and what has been learned.
06
Progress: Where possible, we connect young people with appropriate next steps and consider what should happen beyond the programme.
Why Right Track?
We connect engagement with opportunity.
Our strength is not simply in delivering an individual activity.
It is in connecting different parts of a young person's development.
- Community engagement can connect to mentoring.
- Mentoring can connect to skills.
- Skills can connect to qualifications.
- Education can connect to employers.
- Football can connect to leadership.
- A programme can connect to a meaningful next step.
That is the thinking behind our Pathway to Purpose and the partnerships we want to build.
